Trying not to go it alone

Druid groups are called groves (if they're large) or seed (if they're smaller). I didn't want to do my explorations alone (for once, which anyone who knows me is probably thinking 'Who are you and what did you do with our friend?'), but the fact still remains that for this singular thing in my life I wanted to share it with like minded individuals. So... more research!

On the website of the Order of Bards, Ovate & Druids, there is an area where you can search for groves or seed groups close to you. And guess what? I found one! I contacted the leader via email, and thankfully she responded fairly quickly, inviting me to join them for their Samhuinn celebration (for those who don't know, it's pronounced 'Sa Ween' and corresponds with the modern holiday of Halloween) on Oct. 29th. She also gave me a link to their website, called The Awen Center. It looks amazing!! I can't wait to go! Admittedly, because I'm still on crutches from a knee injury, I'm a little worried about how I'll manage on the uneven ground, but I'm sure they'll help me if needed, so I won't dwell on it and borrow trouble :)
